NONRENEWABLE RENEWABLE RESOURCES
Presentation transcript:

Difference between Renewable And Non-Renewable Fuels Renewable Fuels Renewable fuels are the fuels that have been produced from the resources that are renewable Some of the examples include; ethanol, biofuels, methanol and the biodiesel. Non-Renewable Fuels A non renewable fuel refers to the fuel which cannot be regenerated or reused on the levels that can sustain its consumption rate. Examples of non renewable fuel are oil and natural gas or fossil fuels.

Petroleum Petroleum is crude oil, a naturally occurring liquid that can be refined to make gasoline (or petrol), diesel fuel, jet fuel, home heating oil, lubricating oil, wax, asphalt, and many other valuable products.

Diesel Diesel oil or diesel fuel is a type of fuel for cars. It is also an oil used for an energy source. It is made from petroleum and from various other sources It is named after Rudolf Diesel who in 1892 invented the diesel engine

CNG CNG refers to compressed natural gas. It is usually stored in a high-pressure container. The gas is primarily used as an alternative fuel for internal combustion of motor engines.
