Migrate Some birds or other animals will fly or walk to warmer places for the winter months. They are trying to find food

Do the “Migration” Flap your arms and follow the teacher!

Hibernate Some animals will sleep during the winter months. They do not eat or produce waste and their heart slows down. STOP AT 3:27

Slow down your heart rate! Close your eyes, take deep breathes and slow your body down.

Hiding Some animals hide in their burrows or nests during the winter. They sleep for a bit, but will often wake up to find food or eat a snack they have stored in their burrow or nest.

Stay Active! Pretend to be like a squirrel and warm up your body with some exercise!

Adapting Some animals will adapt to their surroundings by growing a thicker coat or changing the colour of their coat to camouflage with their environment.
