Homework Spelling: Each student receives an individualized spelling list based on a practice test taken with a spelling inventory list. (Spelling tests are given every Friday) Math: Homework consists of math workbook pages, math facts, and math games on Thursday. Keep games and materials in your binder all year. Each student is given the homework every Monday and it is due by Friday. Read 30 minutes every night and write the title of the book in agenda. Projects: Two projects are given in second grade. Goods and services project: (December) Life Cycle project: Identify the body parts of insects (Springtime) Note: Spelling and math homework can be found on the second grade wiki under the Newsletter tab.
