Session 40-5 What are the SFA Assessments? n Originally for Quality Assurance schools’ self-evaluation of Title IV operations n Updated with hyperlinks to Reg’s and the Student Financial Aid Handbook n Addition of new, interactive assessments n Now available for ALL schools

Session Where can I find the SFA Assessments? The assessments can be accessed at the following website:qaprogram.air.org

Session Tools For Schools SFA Assessments In collaboration with financial aid professionals, SFA has designed management assessment modules to help schools enhance their services. The modules contain links to applicable laws and regulations. There are four categories: Students Schools Managing Funds Campus Needs

Session Tools For Schools n Interactive modules allow the school to complete self-evaluations online n Non-Interactive modules require download by schools n All modules provide hyperlinks to Regulations, Student Financial Aid Handbook n All modules have printing options

Session Do I need a password to use the modules? n Schools can view the modules in the tour mode without a password n If your school wants to complete the module and save it, a password will be required. The password will be your OPE ID n This function will not be fully operational until late this year. n In the meantime, a “dummy” password will be available for schools to test and peruse through the modules
