Covering Your Textbook

Procure full size paper bag from Kroger, Food Lion, Martin’s, etc.

Cut off a skinny side and the bottom – leaving yourself with a long piece of brown paper consisting of the front, the back, and a side

Place textbook in the middle of this long piece

Use a pencil and mark where the top and bottom edges sit on the paper

Remove the textbook and fold down the bag on those lines

Place textbook on paper, leave the edges folded down

Take one part of the book cover and “feed” the book cover through the paper fold, you’ll want a good 4” of paper to create the flap on the inside of the cover.

Do the same with the remaining cover

Wiggle the book and the paper to get both sides fitting snugly

Tape the paper together at the tops and bottoms of each of the flaps – DO NOT tape paper to the book – this will result in a damaged book and you will be fined!

Show the book to me and get your homework pass!
