Invention of Phones By Ronik P, Dave L, Dan C

Alexander Graham Bell In 1876 at the age of 29 Alexander Graham Bell invented the phone and 1 year later he started the Bell telephone company. Alexander Graham Bell was a Scottish Scientist. Alexander Graham Bell created the phone in his laboratory in Brantford Ontario Canada. Alexander Graham Bell made the phone by trying so it wasn’t just a accident.

Need for the Invention The need for the telephone was for people to talk instantly and not have to wait for letters and stuff.

Environmental Impact of the phone Phones are known for causing some cancer and also have some dangerous chemicals like Mercury and Lead. The reason why phones are dangerous to the environment is because the phones that people throw out sit in landfills with dangerous chemicals and the chemicals get mixed into the air we breath and also the chemicals are damaging the ozone layer causing global warming.

Social Impact of the phone The phone has a good impact on society because it helps you socialize with other people at any time and it helps you arrange appointments and meetings.

Why is this invention a “Good” invention? The Phone is a good invention because it helps you organize social events and also it lets you socialize with other people.
