Living in a refugee camp can be extremely hard and difficult to do some things, because they are so over crowded with people.( did you know that there is 42 million people uprooted by war that’s Australia’s population plus two Adelaide's!) You can have a lack of food if the shipments late and your monthly ration is pretty small and boring a lot of people suffer from malnutrition in refugee camps. I guess one reason there is for such a lack of things is because you cant supply that much stuff evenly. That’s why people escape the camp and ‘illegally’ come to other countries. 2 Image: 'Australia Map' Map
If you do get a sickness you will be lucky to get enough medication to get better. But with UNCHR all of this is getting better. Also there is so many sick people you could catch it from someone else. In refugee camps instead of toilets they have latrines the latrines are always on the go once they fill up one whole their off to another the sewage isn’t treated and because there is o much sewage one of the common dieses in refugee camps is choler which is a dieses you get from untreated sewage. Public places are usually converted to shelters. If you need water you will need to find a water pump which is shared with people and should be 100 meters away. Some aid agencies supply tents to people. It should last 2-3 years. Image: 'water is life' is life
