Cyber bullying is a form of bullying that takes place through technology. Cyber bullying can be used with phones, computers and tablets etc. Cyber bullying is when someone is being bullied online by texts, posts, spreading rumors and posting embarrassing photos.

 Why do people cyber bully? Most people do cyber bully by anger and jealousy. People do it for pure entertainment. Mostly the people who do cyber bully do it because they are power hungry or they just want to impress there friends.

TThere are many affects of cyber bullying such as addiction of alcohol and drugs, start skipping school, start receiving poor grades, health problems and lower self of steam.

-40% people have been cyber bullied on facebook. - 25% people on twitter have been cyber bullied -20% people have been cyber bullied on ask fm - 15% people have been cyber bullied on youtube

 The law of Canada states that if you threaten or harass someone by the use of electronics you can face criminal charges

This graph shows the amount of kids in the U.S.A that have been bullied over an 11 year period

 Always think about what you post  Keep your password a secret from other kids  Think about who sees what you post online  Keep your parents in the loop  Talk to an adult you trust about any messages you get or things you see online that make you sad or scared

You can never prevent cyber bullying but some things you can do include:  Leaving the online chat  Keep track of the bullying (write it down and/or save a screenshot of the online message)  Tell an adult you trust but if there is no one call kids help phone  Report the bullying to the website or if it is by text report it to your service provider
