Environmental club Mr and Mrs Patience – support teachers

Aim: To improve our schools environment as well as, surrounding community environments. To leave a legacy for future generations. To educate the CAMST community about environmental issues. To implement sustainable living.

How? Environment clean ups, with the involvement of the school. The use of posters and other media devices to create environmental awareness. Hikes, water excursions, educational environmental outings. Recycling, allocated recycle bins. Sustainable living through Organic vegetable gardens (making use of a greenhouse)

Past and current ventures: GARDEN CLEAN UPS AS WELL AS PICKING UP LITTER WHICH IS A DAILY PROJECT.

The removal of weeds and alien plants: Problematic alien plants in our area.

Sustainable living:

The green house... Afterschool activities

Vegetable planting... Cauliflower, Spinach, which is mainly surrounded by spring onions.
