Framework that defines and endorses superior learning and training standards that health care employers need to cultivate a world-class workforce Gives health sector organisations greater confidence when commissioning training Providers can enjoy industry-wide credibility and the knowledge that their offering meets a unique and recognised audit process

For training providers: Provides a robust and systematic process for measuring the quality of your health specific training and learning provision Gives internal and external colleagues, customers and commissioners greater confidence that the health sector training you offer has been quality assured by a sector specific external auditor Allows you to benchmark your organisations standards against recognised health sector specific audit standards

For training providers: Offers a greater profile, recognition and credibility Paves the way for new business opportunities Quality Mark endorsed programmes included in the Skills for Health data base that employers will use to search for learning and training providers and courses.

For employers and commissioners: Provides assurance that the training purchased is high quality and value for money Saves employers time - QM short cuts the research required to find the quality of provision needed Ensures the delivery of skills and knowledge required is health sector specific Contributes to productivity and improved patient care
