Developing Body, Mind & Spirit What is the Y-Team doing?  YMCA Centres in Sri Lanka especially in affected areas will double up as follows:  Establishing water points using Distillation-treatment plants for locals to draw water  As electricity is available 3km from coastline, water- point will be located here  Be a physical relief distribution centre to manage the various contribution by organizations to ensure fair sharing  Be a centre to house care-givers for bereaved family members

Developing Body, Mind & Spirit What is the Y-Team doing?  Will take a sector of a village to help out in the physical restoration  Will facilitate the deployment of medical teams through government accredited relief agencies  Each team will stay for 7 to 10 days before returning back to Singapore

Developing Body, Mind & Spirit Y-Team Composition  2 kinds of teams:  Medical Teams  General Relief Teams  Each General Relief Team will comprise  1 medical doctor  1 YMCA staff  8 volunteers
