A long time ago there was a pirate that had a gold earring and a big black hat. He also had a big sword and a pistol. He was quite a short man. His name was Jack. Jack and his crew fought against the British and lots of other pirate.

Their boat was called the Danger. They had a secret hatch in the floor of the boat that led into the place that held all the treasure. One day another pirate ship came towards us. They raised their flag and declared a fight. The danger got their canons ready. Jack and his pirates destroyed the other ship, but there was a fight going on deck. The other pirates won the battle.

They said to Jack: Where is your treasure? Jack did not want to tell them,but they were about to kill him. He said go through the secret hatch in the floor. They went down and gasped. That’s a lot of money and jewels! Luckily Jack had escaped. He took a rowboat and paddled to an island. He stayed there for 31 nights and 32 days. He had to make his own shelter with leaves and branches. Another ship came past and saw him stranded on the island. Some of his old buddies were on the ship, so they rescued him.
