Very ”clinical” – almost all modules in NUH No IS modules FYP module All classes finish by 5 – CCA participation

Exclusive joint programme with the National University Hospital (NUH) Only course of its kind with two years of intensive, on-the-job training at NUH, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Healthcare Group (NHG) polyclinics. All other similar polytechnic courses – taught at the poly not in the hospital except for attachment. Graduate with additional qualifications and skills - Certificate in Phlebotomy (blood collection) and competence in performing electrocardiogram (ECG) tests. Good training to take international professional examinations – American Society for Clinical Pathology examinations for medical laboratory technologists. Good qualification if e.g. working overseas.

BLT graduates can enrol in a wide range of degree programmes offered by National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University.
