Mammals Come in all different shapes and sizes. Mammals don't have scaly bodies.

Are bugs animals?  Yes, the two kingdoms of living things on earth are plants and animals.

Reptiles *Most reptiles are cold-blooded.

The food chain  A food chain is how lots of animals get their food.

Do most animals eat all vegetables?  Some animals only eat vegetables. Others have to eat meat.

Do elephants weigh more than hippos?  Elephants weigh about twice as much as a hippo.

Did people come from monkeys?  People and monkeys are very similar but now scientists think we came from chimps about 5 million years ago.

How many breeds of dogs are there?  There are about 340 dog breeds.

When did animals come to earth?  Most scientists think that animals came to earth about 600 million years ago.

Are dinosaurs animals? Yes, they came from reptiles.
