So B. It This is a suspenseful, and sad story about a girl named So B. It with a mentally retarded mom. (Girls prefer it) Five Stars

A Series of Unfortunate Events These books have strange plots with many twists and unfortunate endings. Five Stars

The Thief Lord This book is filled with action, secret hideouts, and, of course, thefts. Four Stars

Chasing Redbird This book is the edge-of-your- seat, yet relaxing tale about a girl who tries to uncover a secret trail that leads somewhere that is unknown. But at the same time, her uncle keeps dreaming about his dead wife and daughter. There is much more to this book to read but you will have to read it to find out. Five Stars

Lord Loss This book is full of adventure, gore, action, and simultaneous chess games. It is about a boy named Grubbs that is out to avenge his family from being killed by demons. Four and one half stars
