What were the Townshend Acts? Tax on duties such as paper, paint, glass and tea. All goods that came from outside of the colony was going to be taxed.

What event happened in 1770? A group of british soldiers misunderstood orders and fired on the protestors and killed 5- 7 people. Boston Massacre.

What is propaganda? Propaganda is a form of communication aimed towards influencing the attitude of the community toward some cause or position.

Massachusetts Government Act – All of the colony’s government positions were now appointed by the British. Administration of Justice Act – If a British soldier committed a crime, he could be tried under British Law. Quartering Act – Billeting of soldiers.

Quebec Act An act where Quebec saw their border increased. This border increase was in conflict into where the colonists wanted to expand. The French Language and Catholicism was now recognized in Quebec The colonists did not like the un-democratic rules in Quebec.
