Description/Requirements Revenue is based on the membership, sponsorship, advertising sells as well as donations of products and services that will defray costs. The retention rate is 84% of all campaign sales. The GLI professional team is encouraged to go on sales calls with volunteers Our board of directors and executive committee sponsor teams and campaign events In the beginning, we utilized a consultant but now run it fully in house

The Campaign Make Up Volunteer Leadership team of Chair, Vice Chairs, Assistant Vice Chairs, Team Captains and team members The GLI staff coordinates all administrative work and events Timeframe – the campaign runs from September to January and the leadership planning retreat is held in February Sales are encouraged all year long We have monthly reward sessions to bring volunteers together to report on campaign standings Incentives for volunteers vary based on what their company allows them to accept

Results We set an overall campaign goal and goals for each category of sales, for example a goal for sponsorship sales, membership sales, advertising sales, etc. We have conducted 8 campaigns and exceeded the overall goal each year, however we don’t always exceed the category goals We have a very good expense ratio for our campaign – it runs between 15 % – 18% 2011 campaign total - $1,710,436
