 They are big grey giants.  Elephants have a long nose.  These giants weigh about a school bus!  They love peanuts!

 They live in Africa and Asia.  You can find them in zoos almost anywhere.  They live in dry, sandy and wet places.

 percent of it’s diet is grass.  They like plums, figs, berries, flowers, twigs, roots and bark.  One of the really popular food they eat are peanuts.

 An adult trunk can be about 7 feet long!  They can suck up to 2 gallons of water in there trunks.  Sometimes babies are able to walk on their trunks.  They use their trunks to keep themselves safe.  They use their trunks as a snorkel.

 People thy to kill these big giants, but I want to save them.  Elephants can eat 300 pounds of food a day! That is one big elephant!  They use their tail as a fly swatter.
