Web Strategy Committee Role: Provide oversight and set policy relating to the university website and related issues. Web Redesign Work Group 18 members from all the various key stakeholder areas around the university. Role: Charged with informing the design firm of your desired features, functionality, and designs in the next version of the website. Their role is to communicate the project within your division, solicit feedback, and provide regular updates on this year-long project.

Web Redesign Goals First-rate, interactive, and visually compelling website that engages prospective students, alumni, and donors Website will have two distinct areas: Marketing-focused, public website myUSF (intranet) Apply a responsive web design so that the website presents well in all mobile devices

Website Migration -Marketing, public website will launch with approximately 4,000 pages in early July -myUSF sites launching in July include ITS, Marketing Communications, and Student Life sites -Full list of websites and migration schedulewebsites and migration schedule -By May 2016, all websites need to be migrated from Ektron

URLs Changing Marketing, public website will use myUSF will use myusf.usfca.edu/(yoursite) Ektron websites not migrated to marketing site or myUSF can still be accessed using web.usfca.edu/(yoursite). This can be used now! Look over any brochures, letters, s, etc. that contain URL references as these will need to be updated in July and potentially throughout the year

Process for Non-Academic Websites Continue to update your website in Ektron, but use web.usfca.edu/xxx Consider over the next year, when is the best time for us to work with you on migrating your website and let us know at Note any changes to current content and communicate with us when it’s time for migration
