Conclusion Newspapers may be dying, but there are other channels ready to replace them. Production is no longer a problem. The problem is how to come up with the indepth information and content that attract the audience. Technology is reshaping media industry. Winners will be determined over the next two to three years or longer. Specialised bloggers are fierce competitors to general reporters or journalists. Journalism and mass communication programmes must prepare students with basic skills in digital media, writing & presentation, communication skill, analytical skill, mathematical skill. Broad knowledge in liberal arts studies are also needed.
