INTEGRATED JUSTICE SYSTEM 3 Fingerprint Biometric Verification, with its interfaces, is an automated technology designed to replace the manual verification systems used throughout the Criminal Justice Process. Within Department of Correctional Services, Fingerprint Biometric Verification will be primarily used within the processes of Admissions, Releases, Releases to Court, Roll Calls, and Visitations, as well as any movement management of Prisoners, where the verification of their identification is required. FINGERPRINT PROCESSES

INTEGRATED JUSTICE SYSTEM 4 Study of measurable biological characteristics, referring to authentication techniques that rely on measurable, physical characteristics that can be automatically checked. Examples include computer analysis of fingerprint verification, eye recognition, or speech recognition. DEFINITION: BIOMETRICS FINGERPRINT PROCESSES

INTEGRATED JUSTICE SYSTEM 5 Pre-identified finger/s are placed in a fingerprint scanner. Computer analyses the fingerprint/s and compares against previously recorded samples. The advent of discrepancies in the analysis will determine the authenticity of an identification or use the analysis to identify and locate a personal data file stored within a database. The computer will respond to the configured levels of authentication. FINGERPRINT BIOMETRICS: BASIC OPERATION FINGERPRINT PROCESSES
