Verb ( to be) be am is are

Verb “be” 1) في اللغة الانجليزية لا يوجد جملة بدون فعل, نقول بالانكليزية مثلا : The boy is nice لكن بالعربية نقول فقط ” الولد لطيف “ 2) يختلف استعمال Be حسب الضمير او الاسم الذي يسبقه. 3) بعد الفعل be عندما يكون الفعل الريئسي في الجملة يكون بعده اسم, صفة, او جملة تبدأ بحرف جر

الفعل am يأتي مع الضمير I مثال :- I am happy.

نستعمل الفعل is مع الضمائر he, she, it is he she it Ex:- He is a boy / she is a teacher It is long

are نستعمل الفعل are مع الضمائر (they, we, you) they are we you

Examples:- They are at school. You are Ready. We are here now.
