Noble’s Hospital serves a population of approximately 80,000 has a complement of 318 beds provides a wide range of services Medical staff of around 124.6 wte is a new Hospital on a green field site It is equipped to the highest standards 6

Noble’s Hospital We can offer undergraduate electives at Nobles Hospital within a variety of specialities and with direct access to consultant. Current specialities include: General Medicine (with special interests in Elderly Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Renal, Oncology and Palliative Care) Paediatrics and Neonatology Obstetrics and Gynaecology Accident and Emergency Radiology (including CT Ultrasound and nuclear medicine imaging) Anaesthetics (including ITU) General Surgery (including breast & oncoplastic unit, vascular surgery, Upper GI & colorectal surgery) Urology Orthopaedic Surgery

Noble’s Hospital Undergraduate Teaching by Foundation Doctors - Mondays 6-7pm Sessions focus on being on call as a foundation doctor. Sessions are highly interactive with role-playing of situations commonly encountered during on call shifts, such as: reviewing the acutely unwell patient reviewing prescriptions handing over to seniors talking to concerned families Students will be ‘left’ to manage the situations as they will be expected to do as an FY1

Noble’s Hospital Facilities Staff restaurant is subsidised and open daily Coffee room with vending facilities and microwave is adjacent to restaurant and open 24 hours a day Coffee shop in atrium foyer is open during office hours – and serves great cakes! Lovely residential accommodation is self-catering with each unit supplied with a fully equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities available too.

Education Centre and Library Facilities We have a modern Education Centre, Keyll Darree, which includes a well equipped library with access to email and internet facilities for all students.
