 Identify major body parts and their functions including the following: -Circulatory System (heart, blood, vessels) -Respiratory System (nose, trachea, lungs) -Immune System (many types of protein cells, organs, tissues) - Excretory System (lungs, large intestine, kidneys) - Digestive System (mouth, esophagus, stomach, intestines) - Nervous System (brain, spinal cord, nerves)

 Anatomy-Non Fiction (Dewey )  Encyclopedias  Reference Medical Guides

* Anatomy Arcade *BBC Science & Nature Human Body *Kids Health-How the Human Body Works *Kids Konnect- Human Body *A Look Inside the Human Body *Medline Anatomy *MEDtropolis Virtual Body *Minnesota State Human Anatomy *Nature’s Best the Human Body h.html h.html *Surfing the Human Body *Yucky Gross and Cool Body

 Complete human anatomy worksheets  Create online flash cards- if time permits -Flashcard DB -MuchoBeets -Quizlet

 Create a PPT on the Human Body System & Its Functions (listed in Step #1)  A Works Cited Page is included at the end of the PPT BibMe Easy Bib Purdue OWL  Take an end of the unit test on the Systems of the Human Body

 Were each of the major body systems included?  Is there a clear description of each of the body parts for each system?  Is there a clear description of each of the functions for each body system?  Do the background, colors, fonts, and sizes create a PPT that is easy to read and fitting with the guidelines of the assignment?  Do the pictures/images (graphics) and animation (transitions) fit within the guidelines of the assignment?

 Is a correctly formatted work cited page with references for images, websites, and print materials included at the end of the PPT?  Is the PPT easy to read with minimal spelling and grammatical errors?  Would I feel proud to submit the work?
