Public Health Centres

Learning Objectives  Understand the definition of Public Health Centre  Distinguish between the different units in a public health centre  Delimit teaching/learning strategies for the essentials of education for community/public health nursing

PUBLIC HEALTH CENTRES Public health centres were created according to the Act 42/1986, March 21st, from Consell of Valencia Regional Government Public health centres depend on public health Directorate General, Regional Ministry of Health, Valencia Regional Government

PUBLIC HEALTH CENTRES The organisation of public health centres is divided in 4 units: Epidemiology Unit Food Hygiene Unit Occupational Health Unit Health Promotion and Health Programmes Unit It is also included the: Breast Cancer Population Screening Programme
