 What Is The CCC?  Who Took Part In It?  What Did The CCC Accomplish?  Is The CCC Still In use?

 Created 1933 by Herbert Hoover as part of his New Deal.  Also known as the CCC.  The CCC’s purpose was the renewing of the natural resources of the U.s.  It also brought jobs to around 3,463,766 men.

 Unemployed juniors, veterans, and Native American’s where apart of the CCC.  There numbers estimate to around 2,876,638 workers, not including territorial enrollees, and non-enrolled personnel.  Most workers were giving 30$ a week in which they had to send 25$ of it home, to support their families.

 The CCC essentially work help create national parks.  They also did the following  Built 125,000 miles of road.  Strung 89,000 miles of telephone line.  Stocked 972 million fish within lakes.  Planted 2-3 billion trees.  Restored 3,980 historical structures.  Developed 800 state parks.  Created 52,000 acres of public camping areas.

 The CCC is no longer in effect.  It officially ended on June 30,  They where disbanded because of the start of the WWII.
