Attitude Facts My Attitude not my ACHIEVEMENTS will bring me HAPPINESS.

TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE DESTINATION DISEASE 2. SOMEONE SICKNESS 3. BACKSLIDDER BLUES

LET GO OF THE PAST AND GO WITH THE FUTURE! Philippians 3:13 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, NIV

My Attitude is the Major Difference between SUCCESS AND FAILURE!

Numbers 14:24 24 But my servant Caleb has a different attitude than the others have. He has remained loyal to me, so I will bring him into the land he explored. His descendants will possess their full share of that land. NLT.

TWO QUESTIONS TO ASK BEFORE PREDICTING A PERSON’S FUTURE. 1. CAN THEY 2. WILL THEY

Joshua 14: A delegation from the tribe of Judah, led by Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, came to Joshua at Gilgal. Caleb said to Joshua, "Remember what the Lord said to Moses, the man of God, about you and me when we were at Kadesh-barnea.

Joshua 14: I was forty years old when Moses, the servant of the Lord, sent me from Kadesh-barnea to explore the land of Canaan. I returned and gave an honest report,

Joshua 14: but my brothers who went with me frightened the people from entering the Promised Land. For my part, I wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God.

Joshua 14: So that day Moses solemnly promised me, 'The land of Canaan on which you were just walking will be your grant of land and that of your descendants forever, because you wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God.’

Joshua 14: "Now, as you can see, the Lord has kept me alive and well as he promised for all these forty-five years since Moses made this promise—even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I am eighty-five years old.

Joshua 14: I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then.

Joshua 14: So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me. You will remember that as scouts we found the descendants of Anak living there in great, walled towns. But if the Lord is with me, I will drive them out of the land, just as the Lord said.”

Joshua 14: So Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave Hebron to him as his portion of land. NLT

Five Principles for Developing A Healthy—Long Term Attitude 1. Chose To Think Positive 1. Chose To Think Positive Mark 9:23 23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." NKJV

1. Chose To Think Positive 1. Chose To Think Positive "If you think you can or if you think you can't, you're right." Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he”

My Attitude Will Change When: I WANT IT TO CHANGE. I am Born Into Conditions: I GROW INTO CHOICES.

My Attitude Needs Continual ADJUSTMENT

3. Find Teachers and Be Teachable a. Indirect b. Direct-

4. Conquer Fear 4. Conquer Fear 2 Timothy 1:7 7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. AMP

The “Benefit” Of Backing Away From Your Fears 1.A momentary avoidance of anxiety.

The Price You Pay 1.Your self-esteem is lowered. 2.You feel powerless and frustrated. 3.You sabotage your success. 4.You lead an uneventful, boring life Courage is not an absence of fear - it is overcoming fear.

"fear list" (1) Those things you can do something about. (2) Those things you have no control over.
