Causes of Obesity Obesity does not just happen overnight, it develops gradually and could be caused by anu of the following points: 1.eating processed or fast food 2.not eating fruit, vegetables and unrefined carbohydrates 3.drinking too much alcohol 4.eating out a lot 5.eating larger portions than you need 6.comfort eating 7.Genetics 8.Lack of exercise 9.The environment 10.Transport 11.Depression 12.Eating Disorders such as Binge eating 13.Poor education 14.Poverty 15.Fad diets

Neurological problems could be: Comfort eating Addiction to certain foods and beverages Weak self perception thoughts of being underweight or skinny Physiological Problems could be: Low metabolic rate resulting in you putting on weight more easily Disabled- this person is not very mobile & will find it very hard to loose weight through exercise Heart problems this person is not allowed to exert themselves and it will be dangerous to do any cardio exercises
