Unlocking The Secret Weapon

Having Spiritual Power, Healing, Deliverance, Revival  Prayer is your personal key to spiritual power, healing, deliverance and revival.  Prayer is the Secret Weapon to unlocking missing answers and solutions.  Prayer is the Secret Weapon to winning battles.  Prayer is the Secret Weapon to achieving your Victory!

The Power Of Prayer  Prayer breaks the yoke of bondage.  You may be mighty in prayer alone, but you can be mightier with someone joining you. The Bible says that one will put one thousand to flight (meaning demons), but two will put ten thousand to flight (Lev 26:8; Deut 32:30).  In other words, you can do ten times as much with someone agreeing with you as you can by yourself.

What We See, Is What We Do  Jesus said, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. John 5:19.  No man is an island unto himself. Jesus said without me, you can do nothing.  As a body we function not as parts alone. A foot can do nothing without the leg. Your words cannot come forth without wind and a tongue.

Prayer Is Your Secret Weapon When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came … Acts 2:1-2

The Body Of Christ Ye Are  We are a body – and that’s what we forget.  As a body we pull together. We work as members of one body to fulfill the purpose of God.  We are the body of Christ. When we as the body, come together in one accord and in one place, we can have a ‘suddenly there came’ experience like they did on Pentecost.  No man is an island unto himself. A lone lamb gets devoured by the wolf.

Not long ago when someone was suffering from a heart attack, they had little chance of survival because they didn’t recognize the warning signs until it was too late.

Medical advancements began identifying common warning signs such as discomfort and pressure in the center of the chest, pain in one or both arms and shortness of breath. In a similar manner, Christians are blindsided by spiritual attacks because they do not recognize the warning signs. Spreading awareness of the warning signs has greatly increased the survival rate for heart attack victims.

Recognizing The Warning Signs Of Spiritual Attack For Survival 1. Loss of spiritual desire. 2. Physical fatigue. 3. Lack attack. 4. Weak prayer life. 5. Feeling overwhelmed and helpless. 6. Old habits and lifestyles resurface. 7. Pulling away from Godly relationships.

1. Loss Of Spiritual Desire  The goal of any spiritual attack is to turn you away from what God wants to do in your life.  So, what can turn you away from what God wants to do in your life?  We don’t live by feelings alone, but there is a difference between doing something out of obligation and doing it because you delight in it. When you delight in the Lord nothing else matters.  People compassionate for God find pleasure in the things of God.

2. Physical Fatigue  You are a created being having spirit, soul and body.  If my body is weak it can allow things to get into mind (soul) and that allows things to get into my spirit which can negatively affect me.  Many times we face our greatest attacks just prior to a blessing or after a victory.

3. “Lack” Attack  All of your resources dry up at the same time.  The enemy does this to get you to take your eyes off of God and put your eyes on money. If he can get you worrying instead of worshipping, you will make decisions based on opportunity and not anointing.  The two times when you are vulnerable to temptation: when you have nothing and when you have everything. Stay close to God in both good and bad times.

4. Weak Prayer Life  A weakening prayer life.. “could you not watch with Me one hour? Jesus asked his disciples. Then He told them, watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but they flesh is weak. Matt 26:  Again, corporate prayer, where two or three are gathered is where He is in their midst. Would you like Jesus in the midst of your situation?

5. Feeling Overwhelmed and Hopeless  Circumstances can be overwhelming. The word circumstance comes from two words: circum (encircle) and stance (to stand). You are standing encircled by what’s going on.  Feelings of being overwhelmed can lead to hopelessness. “Hope deferred makes the heart sick”. Prov. 13:12 however …  Faith is believing it is so, when it is not so, until it becomes so, because God said so.  If the enemy can get you to lose hope, he can get you to stop living by faith.

6. Old Habits and Lifestyles Resurface  Old habits appear to fall back on when things aren’t going your way - things that indulge the flesh.  Do not ignore the warning conviction of the Holy Spirit.  Iniquities can be what we once buried trusting God instead and now we dig them up and place trust in them instead.

7. Pulling Away From Godly Relationships  When old habits start tempting you the next spiritual attack is sure to follow: pulling away from God and Godly relationships.  Are more of your friends carnally minded than spiritually minded? Is so, stumbling around the battleground with an enemy’s target on your head is where you might find yourself.

Five “Do Nots” To Break Enemy Attacks 1. Do not forget who made you. God created you with storms in mind and He equipped you so you can make it through in Him. 2. Do not forsake the time and place of prayer. You must have a time and place in order for prayer to be successful. 3. Do not forsake the place of power. Church. 4. Do not forsake the power of partnership. 5. Do not disconnect from pastoral protection.
