Just arrived and the first thing I saw was this really cool clock outside the museum.
Wooden head carving from the interior of an old sunken ship.
Seems to be a theme to the figure heads on the bows of ships.
I’m old, but I don’t remember this version of the gas pump. That feeling of being too young unfortunately, won’t last much longer this morning!
I think I’ll title this photo “still life”....
Here’s where the “feeling too young” ended abruptly. How dare they put this stuff in a museum!!
This was a Seattle timeline – and there were notes there for people to add their names and thoughts with. Back to feeling old.
Kingdom Under Glass.
Remember the old Rainier commercials??
A Seattle Icon for sure...
I used to watch this boat race in the SeaFair Races!
Another Seattle Icon... BoBo.... Lived at the Woodland Park Zoo for 15 years. Died in his sleep after a brief illness.
So, what’s the big deal with this you ask? Well, it’s exactly like the one I had (and still have) from when I was little. My teeth marks are littler of course....
Fun store fronts from years past.
Before my time – thank goodness.
I remember touring a newspaper business when I was young and they had a stand very similar to this with the type all separated out. Back to feeling old again.
This is supposed to be a real estate office. Cool desk however – I’d love to have it!
Just peeking in windows!
That’s all - hope you enjoyed the trip down memory lane – unless you’re too young that is...
