Data Handling 14, 16, 16, 22, 23, 28, 31, 39, 51 What is the range? What is the mode? What is the median? 13, 15, 18, 22, 30, 34, 38, 45

Data Handling Draw me a scattergraph showing positive correlation Can you give me a real life example? Draw me a scattergraph showing negative correlation Draw me a scattergraph showing no correlation

Data Handling 120 Year 11 students were asked what their best subject was. The results are shown in this pie chart: What fraction said English? How many said maths?

Data Handling The contents of fifty Smarties tubes were counted, the results in the table below: Number of Smarties 58 59 60 61 62 63 Frequency 5 15 20 7 2 1 How many tubes had at least 61 smarties in? How many tubes had less than 60 smarties in? What is the probability of choosing a tube with exactly 60 smarties in? How would find out many smarties were there all together? How would you then find the mean number of smarties? What is the modal number of smarties? What is the median number of smarties? Sketch a bar chart to represent this data

Data Handling The heights of thirty sunflower plants are measured exactly one month after planting, the results are grouped in the table below: Height (cm) 20 < h ≤ 30 30 < h ≤ 40 40 < h ≤ 50 50< h ≤ 60 60 < h ≤ 70 70 < h ≤ 80 Frequency 2 8 12 6 1 What is the modal group? Estimate the mean height of the sunflower plants (Calc question – doh!) Which group contains the median height? Draw a grouped frequency diagram to represent this data Draw a frequency polygon to represent this data

Data Handling In a game of chance two sets of cards, one blue numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 the other red numbered 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10. One card of each colour is picked at random and the numbers on each multiplied together. Complete the table below: What is the probablility that the score will be odd? What is the probablility that the score will be a multiple of 5? The player wins if they score less than 10. If a person plays the game once, what is the probability that they will win the game? If 120 people each play the game once, how many would we expect to win? If it costs £1 to play the game, and you get £5 if you win, how much profit does the game make? Blue Cards 6 12 24 36 42 60 5 10   50 4 8 40 3 30 2 14 20 1 7 X Red Cards

Number What is the sum of 123 and 456 What must you add to 48 to make 87? What is the product of 32 and 357? What is the value of the 7 in 1723? Put the digits 1, 0, 8, 4 in order to make the largest positive number the smallest odd number? Write in words the number 154062 Write in digits the number two million, four hundred and twenty two thousand, one hundred and fifty six. Write 1800 as a product of prime numbers How can you tell that 1800 is NOT a square number? What can you multiply 1800 by to make it a square number? Divide £800 in the ratio 6:3:1 If a dress costing £90 is reduced by 15% in a sale, how much will it cost me?

Number If my bank account pays 3% per year simple interest. How much will my £1000 savings be worth in 5 years time? What is 35% as a decimal? What is ¼ as a decimal? Write 35%, ¼, and 0.3 in descending order Which is larger 3/5 or 2/3? What is 5 6 − 3 4 ? 408 – 259 3.4 – 1.62 How many batteries costing £3.98 each can I buy with £20? How much change do I get? If a crate will hold 18 vases. How many crates will I need to pack 460 vases? How many vases will be left over?

Number Without working out, which of the following is 132 x 54 = 7125, 7126, 7128, 7129? Using this fact, without working out, write down the answers to 1.32 x 54 = 132 x 0.54 = 71.28 ÷ 5.4 = 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 Write down the multiples of 5 The square number The cube number The prime number

Perimeter, Area, Volume 50cm 80cm Perimeter? Units? Area? If this is the front of a box 10cm long, what is its volume?

Perimeter, Area, Volume Radius = 10cm 𝜋=3.14 circumference? Units? If this is the front of a cylinder 10cm long, what is its volume?

Perimeter, Area, Volume Radius = 10cm 𝜋=3.14 50cm 80cm Shaded Area?

Perimeter, Area, Volume 3cm 4cm Area? Units? Length of longest side? If this is the front of a box 1m long, what is its volume?

Perimeter, Area, Volume 3m 6m 5m Area? Units? If this is the front of a box 5m long, what is its volume?

Perimeter, Area, Volume 5cm 20cm If the volume of this cuboid is 800cm3, what is the height?

Shape & Space Draw a straight line Draw one parallel to it Draw another perpendicular to them Draw a circle with a tangent Show the diameter Draw a chord on it Draw a parallelogram Draw a trapezium Draw a cone Draw an equilateral triangle Draw its lines of symmetry Draw an isosceles triangle

Factorising and rearranging Factorise 4x + 6 Factorise 2y2 – 8y Rearrange p = 4r + 3 to give r =… Make n the subject of the formula m = 5n - 7

And finally… You’ll have plenty of time so DON’T rush. Read through paper before starting – parts of your brain will start thinking about later questions whilst your on the easier ones. Read each question carefully and make sure that you understand what it’s asking you to do before you start answering it. When you’ve finished an answer, check back to make sure it seems sensible and answers the question. Draw any diagrams or graphs using a pencil so you can rub out any mistakes If you get stuck, think for a minute, if no joy move on to next question. Your brain will keep mulling over the stuck one. If you want to replace a mistake, just cross it out so the examiner can still see it. Don’t obliterate it. When you get to the end of the paper, go back and retry the ones you got stuck on. Don’t leave any question unanswered if possible. Go with a hunch or have a guess. The only questions you are certain to get no marks for are ones you haven’t tried.

Now go and nail it!!!
