Genesis 4:1-10 “ Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, "I have gotten a manchild with the help of the Lord." Again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Lord of the fruit of the ground.... ”

Genesis 4:1-10 “... Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering; but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell. Then the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? … ”

Genesis 4:1-10 “... "If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it." Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.… ”

Genesis 4:1-10 “... Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground. ”

Our Responsibilities to One Another “Love One Another” John 13:34-35 “ A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. ” John 15:12 “ This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. ” John 15:17 “ This I command you, that you love one another. ” Romans 13:8 “ Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. ” 1 Thessalonians 4:9 “ Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; ” 1 Peter 1:22 “ Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, ” 1 John 3:11 “ For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous. ” 1 John 3:23 “ This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. ” 1 John 4:7 “ Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. ” 1 John 4:11-12 “ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. ” 2 John 5 “ Now I ask you, lady, not as though I were writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another. ”

Romans 15:7 “ Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God. ” Romans 14:19 “ So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. ” Galatians 5:13 “ For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. ” Galatians 6:1-2 “ Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. ” Ephesians 4:32 “ Be kind to one another, tender- hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. ” Ephesians 5:21 “ and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. ” Hebrews 3:12-13 “ Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. ” Hebrews 10:24-25 “ and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. ” 1 Peter 4:8-10 “ Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ”
