Retention Strategy

Industry Survey - Why do people stay ?

Employee Retention Tool Conduct SKIP meeting Employee Development program Conduct “Stay” interview Introduce award & reward mechanism Make their day! Work Etiquette Perks & Benefits

SKIP Meeting  From the employee's perspective, it's a chance to share their background, experience and career aspirations. “It's a tool for managers to build trust and know their team members, one or more level below.”  Find out what the employee's goals are. Do they aspire to manage a team? Remain an individual contributor? Move eventually into a new career altogether? Don't forget to ask about their interests outside of work. Motivate your team member to open up and share his/her views/ideas

Employee Development program From effective SKIP meeting we can identify the motivating factor of each employee: “ Help people move up or they will move out” -Handling Team -Onsite Opportunity -Higher Education -Enhance Technical expertise -Promotion -Salary Hike -Appreciation * Based on employee motivating factor we can derive development program

Stay Interview  Conduct “stay” interview Asking longer-tenured employees questions such as: Why did you come to work here? Why have you stayed? What would make you leave? And what are your nonnegotiable issues? What about your managers? What would you change or improve? Then use that information to strengthen your employee-retention strategies. Helps to develop a carrier plan for the long term employee
