Dispatcher  What they do: send out help as part of an emergency response team  Education required: high school diploma with good computer and communication skills  Earnings: Average between $20,000 and $45,000 per year

Certified Nursing Assistant Starting salary: N/A Certified nursing assistants provide hands-on patient care under the direction and supervision of a nurse. Because of their direct and frequent contact with patients and families, certified nursing assistants are often the first healthcare provider to notice early symptoms or changes in the patient's condition, making them valuable members of the healthcare team. Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Entry level for a sonographer is an Associate in Applied Science degree (AAS), which takes two years to complete, plus a 12-week clinical practicum.
