2 Daniel "Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.

5 In Revelation chapters 11 ‑ 19 is depicted a one world government and a one world religion growing up out of the Roman empire but having attributes of all of the prior empires. These powers will be brought together by the antichrist who will attempt to bring all people into this one universal order. People will desire to have this one world peace and harmony - an impossible dream! Remember Nebuchadnezzar's golden image with the feet representing this final kingdom! "They shall not adhere to one another!"

6 Daniel "At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

7 Daniel 11 (Daniel 11:40 ‑ 44 ) We should all long for and work with all our might toward the eradication of violence, hunger, homelessness, intolerance, and all evil. 15 It appears from these and many other prophesies of the Word of God that we are now living in the “last days” and that our personal decisions for Christ and His word are urgent? Many say: “I am having too much fun to accept Christ now.” What if the Lord returns today, or what if someone who is having “fun” with alcohol or cocaine slams into you on the way home today. Are you in the book of life or are you going to spend eternity in the lake of fire?

Man travelled by foot or beast for 6,000 years and in the last century has increased from the ability to travel a maximum of 1,000 miles to over 25,000 miles annually. In just the last 100 years man went from circling the earth in 73 DAYS to circling it in 1 ½ HOURS. Is knowledge increasing at this point in history? For most of history man communicated by written documents or face to face. Now we are sending s across the globe in an instant. Computers have caused knowledge to grow faster in a matter of years that it took centuries to accumulate before.

He will be accounted worthy through Christ of a place in the kingdom which he had so many times foretold. When the Son of God comes to gather His people from among the dead and the living, Daniel will be raised to his eternal reward. His will be a glorious resurrection. He will "rise to his inheritance at the end of the days". This was the final "goodbye" to the 90 ‑ year ‑ old prophet. It was one of tender assurance.
