D ETAILS : Age of the pupils: 11 to14 Used language: English Duration: 6 Months

S HORT DESCRIPTION : The aim of the project is to take a virtual trip to European countries during the project.When travelling in other countriesvisit,our pupils get information about climate,historical places and natural beauty,cuisine,an so on of each city or small town and they will have experience about different cultures and countries. Its also purpose is to connect students and teachers from different countries while carrying out the same activity.

G OALS : o gain information about cultures by way of cultural knowledge and cultural experience to improve the students' Information Technology and multi media skills which will empower them for an efficient, effective and innovative communication getting to know each other’s cultural aspects (traditions, cuisine, celebrations, art, society....) getting to work collaboratively sharing feelings and opinions

E T WINNING PROJECT TIMETABLE

Time / period Task description – tools to be usedResponsible person(s) JANUARY Preparing a presentation(ppt) or the other tools to give some information about our school the coordinator of the project in each school and one different pupil for each group each week.

FEBRUARY students introduce themselves to their partners. Instead of asking them to write information about themselves, ask them to upload one representative photo of themselves. Then ask your partner to give one of these photos to each of his/her students. The students have to look at the photo and write a short story describing the person in the photo. They can answer questions like: what does his/her partner like to do? How does he/she spend his/her day? What are her/his hobbies, interests? In the end, they will share their stories and they will find out if their descriptions fit to the other students' the coordinator of the project in each school and one different pupil for each group each week.

APRIL A virtual journey Pupils to choose a partner school to visit. The activity then involves planning the “virtual trip”. The students will draw a map and a route with some elements important to visit, They can put the logo-train for this map. The students will write virtual travel diary or short essay about different places etc. Using or Prepare a travel comic strips the coordinator of the project in each school and one different pupil for each group each week.
