9DUA QUEST Project Why Does DUA Require Pre and Post 2010 Filings? The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ DUA is the only UI Agency that collected Gross Wages, Excess Wages and Taxable Wages as the means to determine Contributions Due. This Process has been in place for decades. All Legacy Data is in this format and drives the calculation of employer rates. We will change the process beginning in 2010 We can not alter Q since the prior three quarters data is already established using the old process. Adjustments prior to 2010 have to use the Legacy process as well. Q4 detail is required because DOR will no longer collect wage detail data in Q4. This is required for Benefit claims.

10DUA QUEST Project When is the Change Effective? The Project officially began in June of Planning, Requirements, Business Process Design for Revenue is complete Application Design is near completion Application Testing will begin Feb We are planning full deployment in the November/December 2009 Timeframe
