Guidelines for Pre-Algebra Pre-Algebra is preparation for the study of Algebra. To be successful there needs to be maturity, responsibility and quality grades. The following requirements must be met to continue with the accelerated academic track and take Algebra in 8th grade.

1.Consistent quality homework patterns. 2. Ability to be self-motivated. 3.No more than one “C” as a Trimester Grade. 4.No “D’s” or “F’s” as Trimester Grades If these expectations are not met, the student will retake Pre-Algebra in 8th Grade.

Wall of Fame

Binders 1.Keep all notes, assignments, and handouts. 2.Label them neatly in the upper right corner. (Name, Date, Homework or Notes) 3.Keep them organized and neat.

Grading Binders 1.Graded a day or two before each test. 2.I will ask you to find certain notes, homework or handouts and give you a time limit. 3.You will also be graded for neatness and organization.
