IST Work Programme 2001 RATP contribution ‘Public Service of Urban Accessibility’ combines a large range of services through : – new technologies : Internet, mobiles including the new generation of information systems: vocal... – a new status for the passenger : from unknown public passenger to identified user (customerized services will be provided through geomarketing and marketing one to one. IST Work Programme 2001 RATP contribution ‘The Bus of the Future’ to meet the following issues: - urban ecology : new cinematic chain for hybrid vehicles with clean motorisation (more economical, less polluting, in association with the vehicle guidance system - field research : immaterial guidance) - new architecture : external design (wheels at ends) and consequentinternal design - new internal ergonomy integrating communications, localisation and information systems (HMI) - better integration into the urban fabric - new jobs, new training
