In a relationship between variables, the variable that changes with respect to another variable is called the

A relation is often represented as a set or ordered pairs (x, y). In this case the set of all x-values is called the
domain. And the set of all y-values is called the
Range.
An ordered list of numbers that often form a pattern is called a
Sequence.
Each number in a sequence is called a
Term of the sequence.
If the difference between consecutive terms of a sequence is constant then the sequence is called an
Arithmetic sequence.
In an arithmetic sequence the difference between consecutive terms is called the
Common difference.
If the first term of an arithmetic sequence is a and the common difference is d, then the function rule for the nth term, A(n) is given by
