New York University Department of Radiation Oncology A Phase I-II Study of Adjuvant Concurrent Carboplatin and Accelerated Radiotherapy for Triple Negative Breast Cancer (NYU ) Conclusions: Adjuvant concurrent carboplatin and prone accelerated radiotherapy is a safe and effective treatment for women with early stage TNBC Since ~50% of TNBC carriers recur within 2 years from treatment, it is encouraging that none of the patients in the trial have experienced a recurrence The trial continues to the planned accrual of 35 patients
