Digital Angklung Competition

 Promoting angklung as traditional Sundanese music instrument to the world  Promote creativity, collaboration, and extracurricular activity through technology  Digital Angklung Competition is open to all teachers and students in Indonesia. Objectives

Guidelines - Preliminary  The participants have to download digital angklung application for Android from google play  Angklung application example can be found by using search term “Sundanese Instrument” google play  Participants create a video to introduce their groups and demonstrate 30 second of playing the digital angklung to youtube  The participants group’s contact person have to register through for preliminary process  Final participants list will be announced through and SEAMOLEC Website at 5 th of April

Guidelines – Video submission  The participants create a recording video while using the application to play 2 songs, 1 for international music, and traditional music:  Additional digital instruments can be played as the background music  Maximum of 2 conventional traditional instruments can be used to play background music  Participants upload the recording video to youtube channel (link and guides to upload will be sent to contact person’s )  Participants promote the video to get as much views as needed

Judging Criteria  View number in Youtube (60 %)  Music (20 %)  Angklung’s sound  Song’s arrangement  Intro, Interlude, and Coda  Video (20 %)  Performance  Player’s composition, stage blocking  Aesthethics of the video  Use of application  Togetherness

Important dates  Registration (includes uploading an introductionary video)  1 st April 2015  Announcement for final participant  5 th April 2015  Submission deadlines  20 th April 2015  The announcement date of the winner is 25 th April 2015
