 Nearly yr olds participating in an Apprenticeship in 11/12 (increase of more than 500 in 2 years)  70% Intermediate  29% Advanced  1% Higher  Success rates at or above Regional & National  Gender split Male 54% / Female 46%

 11/12 the number of registrations and applications on Apprenticeship Vacancies dropped by the under 19s group  The number of applications for a vacancy does not necessarily relate to the salary being paid Drylining & plastering (Hatfield) £104 p/w = 99 applications Food processing & cooking trainee (Hertford) £247 p/w = 2 applications

126 vacancies available  11 vacancies being handled by the employer (we don’t know how many applications)  21 vacancies with 0 applications (£80 - £160 p/w, Intermediate & Advanced)  45 vacancies with 1 – 4 applications  49 vacancies with 5 – 99 applications
