Decomposer Brochure 10/9 – 10/10
Basics Create a pamphlet/brochure from an MS word template or word document. – Orientation of paper must begin as landscape. It is a bi-fold brochure in which all panels are of equal width.
Panels 1 & 2 Panel 1 is the cover panel – introduce decomposers, engage, “hook” your audience – Include your name, #, class period, and grade Panel 2 should give the names and roles of various decomposers in your ecosystem. Pictures should be included within text boxes. – Indicate what decomposers return to the ecosystem (at the level of atoms and molecules)
Panel 3 Panel 3: Identify your favorite (or the most valuable decomposer in your ecosystem.) Explain why you have chosen it Use a web references to indicate information about its importance. REMEMBER, DO NOT CUT AND PASTE INFORMATION – PARAPHRASE, AND DOCUMENT THE SOURCE ON PANEL 6.
Panels 4 & 5 Panel 4: Explain and show what would happen in the ecosystem you chose if decomposers were removed from it. – Two pictures contained within text boxes are required. – Document the image reference (exact) Panel 5: Provide information on your store. – Create a store name, logo, and website. – It must be a place where people seeking information might find information on this important organism.
