The Road to Rezoomo Rezoomo is dedicated to fundamentally changing the way people create, use their CV and connect with potential employers.

Where Rezoomo came from… My name is Cathal Doorley. I am the founder of Rezoomo.com. The idea for this application came about when I was looking for a job in London. After applying for many jobs in digital marketing and with no success I decided to build a website out of my CV. I built this over a weekend and re-applied for a number of these positions and within one week I had 5 interviews. Within 2 weeks I had started a new job in Groupon UK. The response I received for my online CV was so good I decided to turn this into a business and so the story of Rezoomo began.

What I did next… After much searching I finally settled on a name, Rezoomo. I then registered the company in the UK. Once this was done I set about designing Rezoomo and what I wanted it to do and what features I would add. After many late nights I finalised the design and we set about building this unique application. Next stop…funding. This can be hard. I needed funding fast and luckily there is a government backed startup loan scheme here in the UK. So I put my business plan together and pitched my idea. Luckily they liked it and funding was secure. Onwards and upwords…

Design, testing, design, testing… Designing and building an application like Rezoomo is very time consuming and took longer than expected. We wanted to build an app that was extremely easy to use and gave users all the tools they need to build their best ever CV. There were many redesigns and testing along the way but we feel we have built a unique application that will make your CV stand out from others. We were finally happy with the design so it was now time to give it to the public and make any changes depending on their feedback. Next stop…launch

5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0…All systems go Once we were happy with the application and all the bugs had been ironed out we released it to the world. That was the easy part, Now the hard part begins.
