HELP FOR TEACHERS:  Teachers have access to a variety of resources to complement their standards including Pathfinders for each content area and specialized display areas for each content area. Come to the Planning Resources Room to see these collections!

COME TO THE PLANNING AND RESOURCES ROOM BESIDE THE CIRCULATION DESK!  You may use the teacher resource computer in the Planning Resources Room and find lists of helpful websites, podcasts, and blogs that you might find useful for your students. Each pathfinder is tailored to specific grade and subject standards.

Here is a list of where to look for relevant books in the Media Center. Here is a list of useful websites for WWII topics.

ONE EXTRA SPECIAL FEATURE OF OUR MEDIA CENTER IS….  Teachers love to utilize our electronic resources for planning and to use library books to enrich their curriculum with non-fiction reading and with fiction reading.  Students love to come to the media center because we encourage a life long love of reading by offering enriching and interesting fiction and non-fiction books that the students want to read!

 Your media center has a built-in computer lab. We have 15 student computers that can be reserved for use, or used for locating books for check-out!

 At the rear of the media center, you will see two separate student work areas. These seat approximately 30 students each for your convenience and to serve two classes at one time if needed.

 We operate on a flexible schedule.  Individual students need a pass from their teacher to visit the library  Teachers please schedule times for your classes in advance to avoid over- crowding
