10x10 Spanish course - Current contents   Health System Information Systems (4 weeks) → Introduction to healthcare systems (characteristics and problems) → Role of Health Information Systems (HIS) and the Health Informatics discipline.   Legacy Systems Integration (3 weeks) → Implementing clinical layer (or care) and its integration with the administrative layer → Concept of interoperability and standards.   Clinical Information Systems (6 weeks) → Electronic Health Records with focus on how they need to be scalable and interoperable in order to provide support systems for decision-making → Security, privacy and confidentiality of health information.   Clinical Data Management (2 weeks) → Impact of clinical information systems in decision making for the management of organizations promoting healthcare, education and research.   Management of Change (1 week) → Change management challenges that must accompany the transformation of information systems.
