Viva Presentation Jaimie McGovern (B )

Mind Mapping for ideas... I first drew up a mind map on the ‘Bird’, hoping to give me some ideas towards my newly written article. I then drew up a mind map on the ‘Adventurer’, hoping to give me some ideas towards my newly written article.

Mood-boarding... Adventurer – will they be male or female? Adult or child? Tough or innocent? Landscape – will my story be based in the desert? Arctic? Rainforest? Will it be safe or will there be danger lurking?

My Style-Tile...

Image Prototyping...

Other images include... All images above have been gathered on the internet before edited on photoshop

Wire-frame of completed website...

My Inspiration... Roald Dahl Roald Dahl wrote some of the most famous children’s novels of his era. His books did not necessarily include many images but more writing to allow the reader to come up with their own imagination towards the story. Quentin Blake was the illustrator of his books…

What would I do different? I would perhaps make the narrative website responsive for use of mobiles. Some viewers may find the layout boring and tedious – perhaps I would add more javascript of pop out images and headings. Perhaps include audio of a narrator reading the story or noises of the rainforest to set the mood of the story. Overall I am happy with the finished article and I hope you are also. Thank You!
