Presentation transcript:

Art and & BTEC Art & DESIGN L3 Artists- We aimed high - students had to generate a completely new and original piece of art within a 30 minute task - it was a challenge but results showed that they were able to met this head on. We were all impressed!

Philosophy Very enjoyable taster lesson. They came in as children but left the lesson as philosophers!

Music Year 10 stepped up to the challenge of the sixth form taster day and applied themselves in a mature and conscientious way. They looked and behaved brilliantly!

Economics Pleasantly surprised with the A Level Economic knowledge a lot of the students had already

P.E The Year 10's were really well behaved and approached the lesson with a positive attitude

Business The students were enthusiastic and interested, they were personable and we had some good discussions, they even did some business calculations and were determined to get them right.

Philosophy ‘Absolutely brilliant lesson with year 10 students on the problem of evil. They were able to grapple with difficult philosophical questions with great care and all students made real progress in the lesson. I would be very glad to teach such talented students in the sixth form.'

Psychology Students were really thinking about my questions and putting themselves into context of a famous obedience experiment. It didn't feel like they were year 10 to be honest, but thinking and engaging like my year 12'S!

Science My year 10s conducted a practical better than my year 12s did at the beginning of this year. They divided up the roles and so were quick and efficient. They also tidied up properly for the first time!

History I was most impressed with their positivity and vocabulary!
