DEFINITION OF “LEADER” A leader is the person who directs or controls a group, organization, country He is the one who makes important decisions that will affect his group of followers At the country level, there are many ways a leader can make these decisions and these ways of making decisions define a leader’s leadership style

DEFINITION OF LEADERSHIP Leadership is influence (John C. Maxwell) Influence is the ability to affect the way other’s think and act How powerful a leader is is defined by how much influence he can spread over his followers, and make them think and act in the way he wants them to do so.

He won a landslide victory, defeating Democrat Adlai Stevenson and ending two decades of the New Deal Coalition holding the White House.
